I have got 175 marks in nmat. is there any chance for me to get hrm course in XIMB?

zubin916 25th Dec, 2017
Human resources management is flagship course by XIMB.
Henece the cutoff has always been on high surge.
An average cutoff at XIMB for HRM js 200+ and can vary in range of 185-205.

Hence, chances seem mediocre, however, if paper difficulty was high you can expect cutoffs to go down.

The cutoffs for NMAT at various colleges given below.

Gaurav Shukla 31st Dec, 2017
Hello
MBA - Urban Management & Governance. I have broken down my response into 4 parts, namely -Course Content,Industry Scope,Current Placement ScenarioandMy Advice.

What the current students are doing

Life Beyond

Graduates of the MBA-UMG Program can go on to further study in Ph.D. programs in a wide range of disciplines and topics, such as Urban Development, Housing, Transportation, Public Policy, Planning, Governance, Urban Finance, Real Estate, and a host of others.

My two cents

You might think that UM&G is a course for the future, but by all means, the future is now! Our metros have gone crazy. Mumbai and Delhi are virtually crumbling under the pressure of their own weights. Expertise in this field will give your resume the edge that is missing from most other run of the mill MBA degrees. What you need to understand here is that companies are being flooded with resumes that are exactly the same. An advanced degree in such a niche field will differentiate you from the herd. Sure, this is still a sunrise sector, but before you know it, the demand for talent in this field will skyrocket. I leave the choice of career to the readers wisdom.

All the best!

Cheers !!

I have 75% in 10th and 12th and 7.3cgpa in grad and I have 2yr experience in it sector. If i vl score above 95 can i get into top 20 college

Akshay Kadam 15th Dec, 2017
See you have an average academic records. If you mean to say that you will score above 95 percentile in CAT exam then definitely you stand a pretty good chance of getting a call from top reputated colleges.

With 95+ percentile you can even get calls from New IIMs and you can even apply for good colleges like MDI Gurgaon, S.P. Jain, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi and other IITs etc.

So in short if you are able to score 95+ percentile then even with your average academic records you stand a good chance to get a call.frim top.colleges and then with an excellent performance in your second round of interview and WSAT you can easily end up getting admission in top college. But still aim for further higher percentile in order to increase the probability of your conversion in a better b-school.

All the best!!
