    Im non-eng student, what will be the best time to start Coaching for CAT-18 and what are the best coaching institute for CAT/XAT.

    The best time to start is NOW..!!!!! You will have complete one year of time for revisions, mock tests and rectification. For top colleges you can target SPJain, NMIMS, JBIMS, KJ somaiya, TISS, Welingklar, IIFT, FMS DELHI, IMT Ghaziabad, MICA, NITIE, Shailesh Mehta IIT Bombay, etc are probably top notch for assured placements. You can go for executive MBA from top Bschools like Harvards, oxfords, MIT sloan, Kellogg School, to get settled abroad but you would need atleast 2 years of experience and 700+ GMAT score. Christ University is decent but the college lacks to give expertise in international domains, it has partnerships with USA based colleges though not so great enough to catch an eye for any recruiter.

    Past XAT papers are the best resource for XAT preparation.

    For XAT verbal, read some philosophy and psychology blogs on kant, derida, Ayn Rand, Plato, Freud, etc.

    XAT DM should be done from past XAT papers.

    XAT QA is somewhat simpler but solely concept and application based. Good basics can even do the wonders here.

    Practise DI sets from past XAT papers.

    There are many people who excel at two sections in CAT and score less in one (mostly unintentionally and/or because of time management issues) and nonetheless such aspirants end up in top colleges since there overall CAT percentile is decent. So I would suggest you not to give up hope and prepare well and give CAT a shot.
    Now coming back to your background, since your qualification add to the diversity factor you will have those points which will compensate the lack of maths skills. Now about the colleges, you can refer to the Career360 ranking and choose among them but I would you to make a list of around 10 colleges which are categorized as your best-case scenario colleges, realistic scenario college and backup colleges.      You need to score 96 percentile and above to get a call for BM and 94 percentile and above for HRM. Besides you also need to clear sectional cut-offs.
