The nta has recently released the score card of the every candidate who appeared to the jee main.
The score card contains "percentile" . Not percentage.
And this is the first attempt . Second attempt will be on April month.
Remember score card has "percentile"

According to the guidelines the caste has to uploaded a long with the certificate during application so that the category rank can be given during declaration of results.

I am sorry to say I do not think you can change your caste during counselling. You can try. However it

VIT Vellore takes admission thorugh its entrance exam VITEEE for various B.Tech. courses.

According to its eligibility criteria, a candidate must have passed 12th class or equivalent with an aggregate percentage of 60%  in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.

Candidates from NIOS can also appear for VITEEE.
