Yes you will definetly get admission for an B.Tech or a B.E course. In most universities the minimum required cutoff is 50 percent or more. You will be allowed lateral entry as well. Which means you will be allowed to directly study second year without doing first year.

You ahve secured a good percentile in CAT exam. But, you have to maintain a good record, Also to get into top IIMs, you have to secured more than 99.5+ percentile, then you will be definitely get a call for the top 3 IIMS, that is IIM Calcutta,

With this score it is next to impossible as the lowest cutoffs one must have to get NIMS is 200+.

So, i think you have to re appear for the NMAT or search for some other colleges.

Yes you can still apply for your M.Sc degree. Because still you have one semester remaining. JAM application, TIFR application portals may get closed, but you can apply for upcoming notifications regarding admission.
