The term Hard Core Current Assets in Working Capital Management is defined as the minimum amount of capital required to invest in stores, raw materials etc. in order to keep the firm running. This term was first used by Tandon Committee. If any of the organization by chance fails to bring Hard Core working Capital, it will have to face shut down decision.
