yes, you may change your category and in jee main april session you may apply from general ews if you have all the necessary documents to claim for ews category. however since you have applied jee main january session from general category, your rank and score will be evaluated

To claim for OBC-NCL reservations, you need to produce certificate in front of RC while counselling. But, if you don't have than, no problem you will be adjusted in Unreserved category. You won't be disqualified.
But the problem is with your percentile, last year cutoff for general was 89.
It would be difficult to predict the exact JEE Main qualifying cutoff. However, as the expected qualifying cutoff, you have good chances to qualify the JEE Main exam and appear for JEE Advanced.
