validity of domicile certificate in years

, I am also confused about that the domicile certificate is expired or not but from the information of many website I got this:
THERE IS NO VALIDITY FOR DOMICILE , ONCE YOU HAVE THIS, THEN THIS CAN BE RETAINED FOR LIFE TIME.
