You are right 50 percentage is enough to join  B.arch in NIt . According to criteria 50% weightage is given to 12th percentage while 60% is considered from entrance exam . 50% in 12th class is good for open category while above 45% is given to reserved category.

To take admission in KIT Kolhapur, a general category student need to have 80+ marks. Then only he can get a seat in most popular branches like CSE, ME, EE.
