Yes, you need an OBC-NCL certificate if you want to claim the OBC-NCL reservation in JEE Main .
Here are the key points:
If you want the OBC-NCL quota, you must upload a valid OBC-NCL certificate.
The certificate should be issued by the government and must follow the latest format.
It should usually be issued on or after 1 April of the current admission year.
If you do not have a valid certificate, you will be treated as a General (Unreserved) candidate.
If you apply under General category, then no OBC certificate is needed.
A Category Certificate ID number is the unique number printed on your caste or category certificate. It helps the authorities verify your certificate online.
You can find it on your SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificate , usually near:
the certificate number
the issuing authority details
the top or bottom of the certificate page
If your certificate does not show any ID number, then the certificate number itself is used as the Category Certificate ID.

Yes, with 50% in Arts, you can get admission to Delhi University, as the minimum eligibility requirement for general category students is 50%. But it'd be best for you to check the eligibility criteria according to your desired courses. Also, the CUET cut-off marks play a significant role in your admission.

Biotechnology does have scope in India, but it depends on the path you choose and the skills you develop. It’s not true that there are ‘no jobs’ after MSc, freshers do get opportunities, but the field is competitive, and many roles require practical lab skills, internships, or research experience.
If you choose BSc Biotechnology, it can be a good option if you are genuinely interested in science, research, healthcare, agriculture, or pharma. After BSc, you can go for MSc, integrated PhD, MBA in biotech, clinical research, bioinformatics, or laboratory technology, which greatly improves your job prospects.
Career areas include:
• Pharma and vaccine companies
• Hospitals and diagnostic labs
• Research institutes
• Agriculture and food industries
• Clinical research & QC/QA roles
