I have done my 12th with pcb but now I want to take maths also with certificate with nios for afcat flying branch . Do I have to take drop for this and tell me am I eligible for afcat flying branch?

Prachi Kumari 27th May, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you are eligible for the AFCAT Flying Branch if you meet these conditions:

  • You must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics, securing at least 50% marks in each subject.

  • You must have completed graduation (minimum 3 years) from a recognised university with at least 60% marks.

Since you had PCB in 12th, you can take Mathematics as an additional subject through NIOS. NIOS is a recognised board, and its certificates are accepted. Just make sure you score at least 50% marks in Mathematics.

You don’t need to take a drop. You can study for the NIOS Mathematics exam along with your graduation. But you must complete and pass the Maths exam before applying for AFCAT.

Hope it helps !

I am in 4th semester can I apply for sbi clerk

Prachi Kumari 27th May, 2025

Hello,

You can apply for the SBI Clerk exam only if you're in the final year of your graduation. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates in their final year or semester can apply provisionally.

However, if selected, you must provide proof of passing your graduation exam on or before 31st December 2024.

So, you cannot apply for the exam in your 4th semester.

Hope it helps !

if you fill wrong date of birth on ssc cgl application form and no time for correction what will happen

kumardurgesh1802 23rd May, 2025

Hello Pooja,

If you filled the wrong date of birth on the SSC CGL application form and the correction window is closed, here’s what can happen:

  1. Document Mismatch : During document verification, your application may be rejected if the DOB on the form doesn't match your 10th certificate or official ID.

  2. No Correction Later : SSC generally does not allow changes after the correction window. Mistakes in DOB are taken seriously.

  3. What You Can Do :

    • Appear for the exam if your application isn’t rejected initially.

    • During document verification, clearly explain the issue and provide valid proof (birth certificate, 10th marksheet, Aadhaar, etc.).

    • You may write to SSC’s regional office requesting consideration, but acceptance is not guaranteed.

In future attempts, ensure all details are double-checked before final submission.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

my my date of birth is 8 January 2007 and can I give that exam of NDA 1 2026

Sajal Trivedi 22nd May, 2025

Hello aspirant,

No, you will not be qualified to take the 2026 NDA exam.  According to the age requirements, applicants must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years old when the course starts.  You would be over 19.5 years old by 2026 due to your birthdate of January 8, 2007, which would exclude you from taking the NDA exam that year.

Thank you

Hope it helps you

my date of birth is 8th January 2007 can I give that exam of NDA 1, 2026

Shubham Jha 10th Jun, 2025

dear student,

For NDA 1, 2026, the age limit requires candidates to be born between July 2, 2007, and July 1, 2010 . Since your date of birth is January 8, 2007 , you fall just outside the lower cutoff , making you ineligible for this attempt. Even though you may be within the general age range (16.5 to 19.5 years), UPSC goes strictly by the exact dates mentioned in the notification.
