Is it possible to get admission in BAMS Or BPT at 146 Marks

Sajal Trivedi 20th Jun, 2025

Hello aspirant,

NEET is one of the most tough exam in India and many number of candidates appear in this exam. The cutoff o Medical College also touch sky. So with just 146 marks, unfortunately it is not possible to get admission in BPT or BAMS course even if you get the benefits of reservation.

Thank you

I secured 355 in 2025 NEET. I am from general category. What are my prospects for MBBS and BDS in AIQ and SQ. Thanks

SHUBHANGI SINHA 22nd Jun, 2025

Hello,

The cutoff will may go above 550+ for MBBS and 450+ for BDS in prestigious government colleges, it is quite improbable that someone with 355 marks will be accepted into an MBBS or BDS seat under AIQ for general category. However, MBBS places may be available at certain deemed colleges, but the cost is quite costly.

Depending on the state cutoff and the quantity of seats available, you might have an opportunity to obtain a government MBBS seat in your state under the 85% state quota.

For BDS

Government colleges: A government BDS seat in the general category is unlikely to be obtained with score of 355,

Private colleges: Through management or NRI quotas, you might have a greater chance of getting a BDS seat at a private dental college.

My score is 171 . Can i get admission for bams in smbt collage

Aryan 23rd Jun, 2025

Hi Kaveri,

Your category also plays a lot of role in deciding your admission in a specific college, if we consider general category then, with the score of 171 in highly competitive exam like NEET the chances are very low in college like SMBT Nashik.

You should check our college predictor for NEET for the best available colleges for your rank:

jee main 2025 air 6068 (st) cse ai & data science (b tech) in which college can i get seat? Specially in west bengal

OISHEE BANERJEE 20th Jun, 2025

Alright, so with a JEE Main 2025 All India Rank of 6,068 in the ST category and your interest in B.Tech in CSE with AI & Data Science, you’re actually in a pretty solid position, especially if you're looking at colleges in West Bengal.

First off, IIIT Kalyani should definitely be on your radar. It’s one of the top technical institutes in the state and takes JEE Main scores through JoSAA counselling. For ST category, the cutoff for CSE usually goes somewhere around 7,000 to 8,000 in AIR, and since your rank is 6,068, you fall nicely within that range. If they have specializations like AI or Data Science as part of the core or elective structure, you're in a good place to grab one of those seats.

Now if you’re looking beyond the centrally funded institutes, Haldia Institute of Technology is also a decent option. They offer specializations like AI and ML, and in recent years the closing ranks for such branches have gone pretty high; way beyond your rank, so you’re definitely in the safe zone there too. Same goes for options like IEM Kolkata, Techno India, and even Government College of Engineering and Ceramic Technology if you're open to broader CSE or IT streams where AI related electives can be chosen later.

Basically, you're well positioned to secure a good seat. Keep your preferences sharp during counselling, especially in JoSAA and maybe WBJEE if you're considering state counselling too. Hope for the best!

can I get pharma d with 7k rank in eapcet

Aryan 24th Jun, 2025

Hi dear candidate,

Yes, you can get admission in pharmacy with 7,000 in the EAPCET exam. However, your category also plays a key role in deciding your admission in the college. The general category students may get competition for 2nd tier colleges but trying is worth. For other reserved categories, getting admission in top colleges might be easy.

To check the best colleges available for you, you should check our college prediction tool for better accuracy:

HELLO, I HAVE BEEN SELECTED FOR THE LLM Programme at NMMIS MUMBAI, BASED ON MY CLAT PG 2025 SCORE. I HAVE ALSO CONSIDERED OPTIONS LIKE DNLU JABALPUR AND NIRMA UNIVERSITY AHEMDABAD FOR LLM BASED ON MY CLAT RANK. WHICH IS BETTER IN TERMS OF ACADEMIC VALUE, RECOGNITION, AND OPPORTUNITIES

Aryan 23rd Jun, 2025

Hi Akash,

It is good to see institutions like NMIMS have selected you for master of law based on your CLAT PG scores. If we compare the three then to be very clear:

  • NMIMS Mumbai has strong reputation for it's Kirti Mehra School of Law and has got good academic value.
  • Nirma University is also another good after NMIMS, and has strong reputation for law studies in Gujarat.
  • The DNLU is comparatively newer than the other two and it will take some time to be equivalent to them.

For the best academic value and recognition choose NMIMS, or the Nirma University is also good. The DNLU is newer and can be considered as well but if we choose any one, then it is NMIMS.
