gopi 3rd Jul, 2025

Hello Sanjana,

Yes, you will definitely eligible to apply for Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) admission in Diploma in Computer Engineering if you have completed HSC (Science stream) with 76%. However, the eligibility may vary somewhat depending on the technical education board of a particular state and so on. Normally, students with Science background with subject such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Vocational/Technical subjects can apply. You need to check state or college criteria before applying.

Can I get admission in direct second year of diploma in computer engineering with 76% in hsc exam in science stream

Sonakshi Kumari 7th Jul, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you can get admission into the direct second year (also called lateral entry) of a Diploma in Computer Engineering in some states — but only if the technical education board in your state permits lateral entry after HSC (Class 12) with Science subjects. Most states (like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, etc.) allow lateral entry into 2nd year diploma if:

HSC (Class 12) in Science stream with Mathematics or Technical/Vocational subjects .Some states require a Centralized Admission Process (CAP) or merit-based counselling.

All the best for your admission in diploma.

can l get government college through mh cet PCB with 83 percentile in engineering field

Samriddha Pal 9th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Achieving an 83 percentile in MHT CET (PCB group) makes securing a government engineering college seat in Maharashtra difficult, yet not entirely infeasible, depending on your category and the seat availability in less competitive programs.

As you are applying via the PCB stream, your opportunities are usually more restricted compared to those who apply with the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) group, since engineering admissions mainly rely on PCM scores. Nonetheless, certain engineering programs linked to biotechnology or interdisciplinary studies may take PCB scores into account.

If you are part of a reserved category (such as SC/ST/OBC) or possess state domicile, your opportunities enhance marginally in the initial rounds of counselling. However, many leading government engineering institutions such as COEP Pune, VJTI Mumbai, or ICT Mumbai necessitate significantly higher scores and eligibility in the PCM stream.

With an 83 percentile in PCB, your optimal opportunities would be at private engineering colleges or self-financed institutions in Maharashtra through the management quota or particular biology-related fields, if available.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Pyq for b.sc bio honours pyq entrance exam

Samriddha Pal 9th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Question Papers from Previous Years (PYQs) for B.Sc. Biology (Hons.) entrance tests are crucial for grasping the exam format, commonly covered subjects, and the difficulty level.

Various universities conduct their specific entrance examinations like DU (Delhi University) (prior to CUET), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), and currently CUET-UG for several central universities, typically featuring questions that encompass subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Fundamental Physics, alongside periodic General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning.

These previous year questions can assist you in practicing multiple choice questions related to subjects such as Cell Biology, Genetics, Ecology, Human Physiology, and Plant Physiology. These past year papers can be located on university websites, exam prep books, or educational sites such as Careers360.

Hope this helps. All the best!

Im from Hyderabad. I secured AIR 817 in NEET this year (2025). I would like to join the colleges of Hyderabad. Im confused between AIIMS Bibinagar, Hyderabad and Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad. My question is : If I join AIIMS Bibinagar, then will I be considered as a local of Telangana for the NEET PG exam. I know there is a benefit at AIIMS that well get an internal quota for PG in the INICET exam. But my concern is I shouldnt lose the local quota of NEET PG exam. Please let me know if Ill be considered as a local of Telangana if i study at AIIMS Bibinagar. Thank you

Samriddha Pal 13th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Kudos on achieving an outstanding AIR 817 in NEET 2025! That’s an impressive accomplishment. In response to your question, if you enroll in AIIMS Bibinagar, you will be regarded as a central institute student rather than a Telangana state quota student, as AIIMS operates as an autonomous body under the central government. In Telangana, for NEET PG counselling, the local candidate status for government quota PG seats is based on where you studied MBBS and your residency/domicile status according to the regulations set by the Telangana state counselling authority (KNRUHS).

Typically, to qualify as a local for NEET PG under the Telangana quota, you must have completed your MBBS at a college associated with KNRUHS or Dr. NTRUHS, such as Gandhi Medical College.

Therefore, if you enroll at AIIMS Bibinagar, you might not qualify for the local quota of NEET PG in Telangana, since it is not affiliated with KNRUHS. You will, nonetheless, become qualified for the AIIMS internal quota in INICET for PG programs in all AIIMS institutions, which is an important benefit. If maintaining local quota eligibility in NEET PG Telangana is your goal, Gandhi Medical College would be a more secure option. However, if you consider INICET and central counselling alternatives, AIIMS Bibinagar provides a respected and well-equipped setting.

Hope this helps. All the best!

BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION ODISHA AND 10TH CLASS 2025 (2nd) SOSC Subject English question paper pdf

Samriddha Pal 9th Jul, 2025

Hello,

For the Class 10 (2025) English question paper PDF for the 2nd SOSC (State Open School Certificate) exam from the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha, you should visit the official BSE Odisha website: www.bseodisha.ac.in.

The board typically posts model papers, past year question papers, and exam resources in the “Examinations” or “Publications” sections. If the recent 2025 paper isn't uploaded yet, you can still check earlier year question papers or sample papers found online, which have a similar format and will assist you in grasping the structure, marks distribution, and key topics.

Moreover, various regional educational forums or Telegram groups for BSE Odisha students frequently distribute PDFs of question papers soon after the examination. If you are registered at an accredited educational institution, your school or test coordinator might also offer access to official resources.

Hope this helps. All the best!
