My date of birth is 24th September 1990. OBC -Non creamy layer. Can I apply upsc civil service exam prelims 2026? As I already turned 35 in September 2025. Please help as I am getting contradictory answers.

For UPSC civil services 2026, the maximum age for obc candidates is 35 years as on 1st August 2026. Since your date of birth is 24th September 1990, on 1st August 2026 , you will still be 35 years minus about 1•5 months, which is within the limit.
