expected kcet mark is 116 in 2025. what would be the rank ? is it possible to get CS seat in JCE in mysore

Rohan 12th May, 2025

With a KCET 2025 score of 116 (approximately 64.4% ), your estimated rank would be around 6,000–7,000 .

Given your estimated rank of 6,000–7,000 , securing a seat in Computer Science Engineering at JSS Science and Technology University (formerly SJCE) Mysore may be challenging.

  • Consider branches with higher closing ranks
  • Explore private institutions in Karnataka.

Can I get direct admissions in 2yr of computer diploma after 12th

Swayam 11th May, 2025

Yes, if you fulfill certain requirements, you can be admitted directly into the second year (lateral entry) of a two-year computing diploma after finishing your 12th grade.  Physics, chemistry, mathematics, and other pertinent vocational or technical courses must have been included in your 12th grade science coursework.  Many states, including Maharashtra, provide admission, which is normally determined by merit.

Can I get direct admissions in 2yr of computer diploma after 12th

Swayam 11th May, 2025

Yes, if you have earned a 12th grade diploma in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from an accredited board, you can immediately be admitted to the second year (lateral entrance) of a two-year computing diploma.  In India, a large number of polytechnic and diploma schools enable 12th grade (PCM) graduates to enroll immediately in the second year of the diploma program in computer science engineering through lateral entry.

Can I get direct admissions in 2yr of computer diploma after 12th

Tanisha chaudhary 12th May, 2025

HEY THERE!!!

  • You cannot take direct admission to the 2nd year of a Computer Science diploma course based on passing 12th standard only. Admission to the 2nd year (lateral entry) of an engineering diploma, like Computer Science, is generally given to students passing an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) diploma in a specific trade after passing 10th or 12th class, not just after passing 12th class.
  • If you have qualified 12th (PCM or applicable subjects), you can take direct admission for the 1st year of the Computer Science Engineering diploma at most colleges either on merit basis or by sitting in entrance tests. For direct 2nd year admission via lateral entry, you will generally need to possess an ITI or equivalent certification, not necessarily 12th standard.

Conclusion

  • After 12th (without ITI), you can take admission in the 1st year of Computer Science diploma.
  • Direct lateral entry to 2nd year is usually allowed only for ITI students, not for 12th pass students.

In TS board , we have 4 papers of math 1A , 2A and math 2A, 2B , for 60% minimum subject wise, do they add all these 4 papers , is it same for phy and chem , for bitsat qualification

Mahima Sinha 3rd Jul, 2025

Certainly!

In the Telangana State Board (TSBIE), Mathematics is organized into four segments: Maths 1A, 1B, 2A, and 2B. For assessment purposes, Maths 1A and 1B are combined as “Mathematics Paper I,” while 2A and 2B are combined as “Mathematics Paper II.”

When evaluating whether you meet the 60% minimum requirement for the subject, the calculation is done using the combined marks for Paper I (1A + 1B) and Paper II (2A + 2B), rather than considering each individual part separately. Achieving at least 60% in the combined scores for each paper is sufficient; it is not necessary to attain 60% in every individual segment.

If any aspect remains unclear, feel free to ask for further clarification.
