Here are some options you can consider:
Try appearing for MHT CET or applying through direct admission in private colleges if your board marks are less. Some colleges also conduct personal interviews for admission.

With 67 percentile in CET, you can target mid-level Mumbai University colleges like Atharva, Xavier, Vidyalankar, Shah & Anchor, and SFIT. Apply through CAP rounds. JEE score is low, focus on CET for better chances.
Hello,
Here are some top colleges in Mumbai that accept admission through MHT CET or JEE Main:
Through MHT CET:
Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai
Sardar Patel Institute of Technology (SPIT), Mumbai
Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC), Mumbai
K. J. Somaiya Institute of Technology, Mumbai
Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Mumbai
Through JEE Main:
Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai (for some courses)
Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) – via JEE Advanced, but JEE Main is needed first
NITIE Mumbai – now IIM Mumbai, for PG courses
Most engineering colleges in Mumbai accept MHT CET scores. Only a few accept JEE Main directly.

good afternoon, a discontinuing bond is a legal agreement signed at the time of admission.
If a student withdraws from the BDS course midway or fails to complete the mandatory internship, they are required to pay a penalty.
This penalty is meant to compensate the institution for the seat that goes vacant and the resources allocated.
While SRM Dental College doesn’t publicly list the exact discontinuing bond amount, similar private dental colleges often charge:
3 to 5 lakh or more depending on:
Year of discontinuation
Whether the student has availed any scholarships
Hostel and other dues
In simple words if you cancel or withdraw your admission by yourself in mid of course deny or fail to do internship you have to pay penalty.
To be eligible for INSPIRE Scholarship (SHE) 2025 – Class 12, you must be in the top 1% of your Class 12 board exams.
This usually means 98% or above marks in most boards like CBSE or CISCE.
For some state boards like Haryana, the cut-off in 2024-25 was around 89.8% .
Cut-offs change every year and are different for each board and state. Check the official website for the latest cut-off list.
Hi Anjum!
Thanks for your question. Based on your TS ICET 2025 rank of 6000 and the fact that you're from the BC-B girl category, you do have a fair chance to get a seat in VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNR VJIET) for MCA.
In previous years, BCB girl candidates with ranks around 5000–7000 have been able to secure seats in good colleges like VNR, especially in later counselling phases or spot rounds. VNR is one of the better colleges in Telangana for MCA, so the cutoff can vary slightly based on demand that year. Since you're from a reserved category and female, you get the benefit of category and gender-based reservation which improves your chances.
I would strongly suggest participating in Phase 2 of counselling, keeping VNR as a top choice, and also adding a few backup colleges just in case. You can also keep an eye out for spot admissions where vacancies are filled quickly.
Wishing you all the best with your MCA admission,
In cases where the machine encounters discrepancies (like unbubbled roll numbers but a written roll number), there's a possibility of manual verification by officials to resolve the issue.
Your OMR sheet may have other details like your name, exam center code, or other information which might help in identifying your paper even without the bubbled roll number,so dont worry..
Even though you scored 56.2% in 12th, don't worry you've already taken admission into B.Tech CSE, which is a great step. Now about the improvement exam, yes, you can give improvement in 2026 to increase your 12th percentage. This is a wise decision because companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and L&T usually look for a minimum of 60% marks in 10th, 12th, and graduation.
If you improve your 12th marks to above 60%, and maintain good CGPA in B.Tech, you will be eligible to apply for these placements when companies visit your campus or during off-campus drives. Make sure you keep your backlogs clear and develop good coding skills and communication, as these companies value overall personality.
Good luck !
