In addition to this, you may have to pay around 200 to 600 rupees extra per subject if you opt for additional subjects, and separate exam fees are charged before each public exam. State open schools may have slightly different structures, usually between 2,000 to 5,000 rupees in total for the course. If you join through a study center or private institute, they may also add their own service or tuition fees, so the overall cost can increase.

Hey! The qualifying cutoff for GATE CSE in 2025 was around 29.2 marks for General, 26.2 for OBC/EWS, and 19.4 for SC/ST/PwD. For GATE 2026, the official cutoff is not declared yet, but if we look at the past trends, it usually stays around 30–32 marks for General category.
