Prachi Kumari 1st Aug, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you need to apply for a renewed income certificate for Round 2 registration.

The old certificate has expired, and a valid certificate is required for document verification and fee exemption. Make sure to get the new certificate before Round 2 counselling starts.

i am live punjab can i admission in Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU my newt score248

Prachi Kumari 1st Aug, 2025

Hello,

You can apply for admission in Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU) , but your NEET score of 248 is quite low.

As you are from Punjab, you will be considered under the All India Quota. The chances of getting a BDS seat in CSJMU with this score are very low, as the cut-off is usually much higher.

You can try for private colleges or consider taking a drop and preparing again for a better score.

Hope it helps !

If I have central OBC ncl certificate issued from Uttar Pradesh and domicile from Maharashtra and my caste is included in central obc ncl list.will I face any problem in reservation at iit, nit, iiit due to this issue?will this certificate be acceptable by iit, nit, iiit?

Prachi Kumari 1st Aug, 2025

Hello,

For admission to IITs, NITs, and IIITs under the OBC-NCL category, your OBC-NCL certificate must be issued by the state where your domicile is . Since your domicile is Maharashtra, your OBC-NCL certificate should also be issued by Maharashtra authorities, even if your caste is in the central OBC list.

So, a Uttar Pradesh-issued OBC-NCL certificate may not be accepted for reservation in IITs, NITs, IIITs if your domicile is Maharashtra.

What you should do:
Apply for a fresh OBC-NCL certificate in Maharashtra. Make sure it is based on your caste being in the central OBC list.

This will help you avoid any issues during counselling and admission.

Hope it helps !

i have completed my 12th in private school of othere state so ews seat is applicable in home town or not is there any rule that 12 should be completed in same state ..

Rajesh Reddy 1st Aug, 2025

If you completed your 12th form a private school in another state, you can still apply for EWS reservation, but it depends on your Domicile (your permeant residence), not the location of your school. EWS seats are usually given under the home state quota if you have valid domicile proof of that state.

So, if your hometown/ state is different form where you studied, and you hold a dom9icile certificate for your hometown, then yes, you are eligible for EWS reservation in your home state under state quota during counselling.

You have to make sure to keep your EWS certificate ready and updated

how can i get my marksheet of tenth

Rahul Mandal 1st Aug, 2025

Hello,

If you want to get your class 10th marksheet online, you can download it from DigiLocker. If you want a duplicate copy, you contact your school where you completed your 10th, and they will provide you the copy. If they can't give you the copy, you can contact the boards where you took the exam, and they will give you the results from their records.

I hope it clears your query!!

In my 10th marksheet last name in my mothers name is missing and I have added the last name in online application of IPU MCA through NIMCET. Will it cause any trouble. What can I do?

Nikita shahi 1st Aug, 2025

Hello student,

It might cause a minor issue if the name in your online application does not exactly match the documents you submitted. Usually, such mismatches are questioned during the document verification process at the time of admission or counselling. To avoid trouble, it's best to prepare an affidavit stating that both names refer to the same person your mother. You can get this affidavit made through a local notary. Also, keep any supporting documents where your mother's full name is written like Aadhaar card or any school document. If possible, inform the IPU authorities or NIMCET helpdesk in advance and ask for clarification. It's always better to be proactive.

Good luck with your admission!
