I got 137614rank in kcet 2025 i want cs branch which college can i get government college

Vasundhra 29th May, 2025

Dear Candidate ,
With a KCET 2025 rank of 137,614 getting a Computer Science ( CSE ) seat in a government engineering college in Karnataka in quite difficult, as the closing ranks for CSE in these colleges are generally much lower - mostly under 85,000 . However you can still explore other branches like Mechanical , Civil or Electrical Engineering , which may have higher closing ranks and  thus a better chance . Additionally , consider applying to private colleges where CSE seats might still be available at your rank , or explore options under the management quota . Make sure to participate in all rounds of counseling, including the extended and spot rounds .

what percentage will i require for get admission in diploma in computer branch from G.P bhuj

Snahel Patra 29th May, 2025

To secure admission in the Diploma in Computer Engineering at Government Polytechnic (G.P.), Bhuj , the required percentage varies depending on the state's cutoff trends and seat availability

Expected Cutoff :

  • General Category: Around 50-60% in Class 10 (varies yearly).

  • Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC): May have lower cutoffs (around 45-50% ).

  • Computer Engineering is a competitive branch , so the cutoff may be higher than other diploma.

If you have ≥60% in Class 10 , you have a good chance for Computer Engineering at G.P. Bhuj.
If your percentage is 50-60% , you may still get a seat but might need to check other colleges too.

how much percentile is needed in saat to get admission in btech Cse in SOA University, total of 60 question with 60 minutes and we have to attempt all in which 40 question will be correct of mine ???????

Samriddha Pal 30th May, 2025

Hello,

I will give you an estimation of your performance.

Total questions: 60

Correct answers: 40

Assuming there’s no negative marking (as per previous SAAT patterns)

So, Score = 40 marks (out of 60) = 66.67%

Based on past trends:

Score (%)Estimated Percentile

  • 85–100%95–100 percentile
  • 75–85%90–95 percentile
  • 65–75%80–90 percentile
  • 50–65%70–80 percentile

Since you're scoring 66.67%, your estimated percentile is around 82–88 percentile.

A percentile of 85+ is typically safe for CSE. But sometimes, 82–85 percentile may be enough depending on seat availability and number of applicants. Your performance (40/60 correct) should likely place you in the 82–88 percentile range.

Hope this helps. All the best!

However, individual institutes or state boards may have specific rules, so it's good to check with the respective college or admission authority.
