Saurabh Yadav 27th May, 2025

Hii,

You can select Diploma in Computer Education or Diploma in Computer Teaching courses if you are pursuing TYBMS and would like to earn a diploma in computer teaching for Mumbai schools. These courses assist you in instructing schoolchildren in computer use.

Mumbai's top universities for this degree are:
Women's University of SNDT
Colleges affiliated with Mumbai University
Computer Education Institute (ICE)

Typically, fees fall between 20,000 and 50,000 annually.
You can apply in person at the college admission office or online. Complete the form, send in your TYBMS grade report, and make the required payments. Both online and offline applications are accepted at many colleges.

i have got slected for phd via jrf in data science department , i want to know can i got placed after this program from colg itself

Nikita shahi 3rd Aug, 2025

Hi!

Yes, many institutes do offer placement assistance after PhD, especially if it’s a reputed institute or central university. However, placements for PhD students are often research-based or in higher-level roles like:

  • Data Scientist in top companies
  • Research roles in government sectors
  • Faculty or professor jobs in colleges
  • AI/ML or analytics-based roles in MNCs

Make sure you network with your department professors, work on publishing good quality research papers, and attend research workshops or conferences.

You can also explore internships during your PhD if allowed, which increases your industry exposure.

All the best for your journey ahead,

Thanks for your question!

I want to do computer teaching diploma. which college in mumbai I got seat . .which give me job in icse school for computer teaching

kumardurgesh1802 23rd May, 2025

Hello there,

If you're aiming to become a computer teacher in an ICSE school in Mumbai, pursuing a Diploma in Computer Teacher Training (DCTT) is a suitable pathway. This diploma equips you with the necessary skills to teach computer science effectively.

Recommended Institution in Mumbai:

  • Imperial Institute of Management, Andheri West

    • Course : Diploma in Computer Teacher Training

    • Duration : 1 year (Distance/Correspondence mode)

    • Eligibility : Completion of 10th grade from a recognized board

    • Admission Process : Direct admission

    • Contact : 022-67084192

    • Address : 6th Floor, White House Ltd., Opp. Andheri Public Bridge, S.V. Road, Mumbai.

After completing the DCTT, you can apply for computer teacher positions in ICSE schools across Mumbai. Schools often look for candidates proficient in programming languages like Java and Python, as well as software tools such as MS Office. For instance, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan International School in Malad prefers candidates with qualifications like B.E., B.Sc. (IT), M.Sc. (IT), B.C.A., or M.C.A. for teaching classes 6 to 12.

To enhance your employability, consider supplementing your diploma with certifications in relevant programming languages and software applications.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

Hey ! I have done my BE civil engineering. I want to apply for the ALP exam but Civil engineering students cant apply for it . Is a 1 year ITI diploma sufficient for me to apply for the exam ?

SEJAL JAIN 23rd May, 2025

Yes, you can apply for the RRB ALP exam with a 1-year ITI diploma, only if it's in an eligible trade like Fitter, Electrician, or Mechanic. Your BE in Civil Engineering alone is not valid for ALP eligibility. The ITI must be from an NCVT or SCVT-recognized institute. Make sure the trade is listed in the official RRB notification. Without a valid trade, your application may be rejected. Always verify the latest eligibility criteria before applying.

can i get admission in kj somaiya with 62 marks in mht cet and jee mains percentile of 74?

Akansha Sharma 23rd May, 2025

With 62 marks in MHT CET and 74 percentile in JEE Mains, it may be hard to get admission in K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering for popular branches like Computer Engineering. Their cutoffs are usually higher. You can try applying to other colleges with lower cutoffs or consider diploma courses that lead to engineering later. Improving your exam scores next time will also increase your chances of getting admission in better colleges.
