10th-94%,12th-64.5%,btech-62%, work ex -1 year+ extra-curricular. What are my chances For top colleges if I do real good in CAT?

You have an average academic background. As you know that for calling any student for next round of interview and WSAT every college prepare aggregate score of individuals which consists of different parameters like CAT marks, work experience, 10th, 12th and graduation percentage, engineer or non engineer, gender with different weightages for different colleges.
So you need to know the worth of academic marks. You have a pretty good profile showing you as a multi talented person but that will help you in interview process.
Before that you need to score a very high percentile in order to get a call for interview round from top colleges.

You can have good chances in case you do very well in CAT. Just focus on CAT and work hard to score the best in it
