12th percentage required for iit
Hi
As per your question according to the data The minimum required percentage to be eligible to urge an
entry in IIT is 75% for open and obc candidates and 65% for SC candidates. As we sleep in a rustic which
provides reserve seats caste wise it's most difficult for an open candidate to succeed in IIT.
It is essential for the candidates to possess qualified JEE Main 2020 (Paper 1) and be among the highest
2,50,000 (including all categories) candidates. Among the highest 250,000 JEE Main qualified candidates,
the categories are going to be divided as follows:
GEN-EWS - 10%
OBC-NCL - 27%
SC - 15%
ST - 7.5%
OPEN - 40.5%
PwD - 5% horizontal reservation altogether above.
Hello,
Amid COVID-19 pandemic, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' announced a new update. Percentage criteria for admission to IITs after clearing JEE Main & JEE Advanced 2020 is dropped this year. There is no minimum 12th aggregate required foe admissions in IITs this year. You need to clear the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains and Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced. As board exams of CBSE and other boards have been cancelled and an alternative assessment was used for the evaluation. This is the main reason why this step is being taken.
