There are many other courses other than M. Sc. You can plan for an MBA or MHA (Master's in Hospital Administration), MPH (Master's of Public Health) and many more short-term, industry-focussed courses.

After completing a five year course (considering B. Sc. and M. Sc.), you may be either absorbed in government organizations, private companies, research laboratories or in Academics, depending upon what subject you specialize in. You can work as a QC/QA Officer, Production Officer, Research Scientist, Academician or go for various other opportunities such as IAS, IPS, IFS, etc.
