sir mere inter me 50% marks hai mgr maine iit jee qualify kiya kya mujhe kisi nit me admission mil jayega mai sc category se hu

Hi

The cutoff was around 70 marks for SC quota in 2017. But it's not enough to get into IITs through just passing the cutoff rank. You are supposed to clear JEE with more than 110 to get a chance in non-core branches. But if your aim is to get a main branch then you should score above 150 to reach at your desired career but i still believe to not be sure at just 150 also. So getting an IIT with such marks is very tough job.
Still don't lose hope and hope for the best.

Hello Vaishnav,

Considering your marks, I am assuming your rank will be 6000 or above. With these marks it will be difficult to get into any IITs, even the newest ones, according to their previous year cut offs. Still don't lose hope, you can apply to the new IITs like IIT Goa, IIT trichy, etc. But chances of admission is very low.
