50% marks in pcm is necessary for admission in an IIT clg for a category student

for this year the 12th percentage criteria has been relaxed for the candidates seeking admission in IITs, NITs, GFITs , now they only need a passing certificate of class 12th and a valid score of JEE mains and JEE advanced , however this will not be followed for next year for 2021 admission 12th percentage criteria will be considered that is candidate belonging to general and OBC category need to secure a minimum aggregate of 75 percent marks in their 12th and there is a relaxation of 10 percent for candidate belonging to SC, ST and PwD category.

This year it is not applicable, because of pandemic this year there is no restrictions on the basis of boards results.
If you have good marks and rank in jee than you can get admission.
