There are many ways to approach this question. One of the ways is to solve the above problem by the concept of cyclicity and remainder. If we start from begining then we'll find that remainder of 7^4 will be same as 7^700.
7^1 by 100 gives a remainder of 7.
7^2 by 100 gives a remainder of 49.
7^3 by 100 gives a remainder of 43.
7^4 by 100 gives a remainder of 1.
7^5 by 100 gives a remainder of 7.
We see a repeating cycle of 4. So, remainder is 1
