78 percentiles are enough for mbbs seat obc category

A 78 percentile in NEET is generally not enough to expect a government MBBS seat through the usual counselling routes.

Also, percentile should not be confused with NEET marks or rank. Admission is primarily determined by the candidate's NEET rank, category, counselling quota and the closing rank of colleges.

If you have scored around the 78th percentile, you should not depend on MBBS alone. It would be sensible to consider alternatives such as BDS, BAMS, BHMS, B.Sc Nursing, physiotherapy and other allied-health programmes, depending on your interests and eligibility.
