A seat is alloted in 7th round of josaa. But I would like to participate in special round, so is it need to report in the allotted institute

Hello aspirant,
You need to report to the alloted institute after the last counselling round of JOSAA. Otherwise your seat will be cancelled. So if you want to participate in the special round first take admission in the alloted institute by reporting there. Then you can participate in the CSAB special rounds. If you do not report to the alloted institute then you have to rely on the special round result where not much seats are vacant.
