after completing mcat with good score how to approach for any universities.also i wanted to know fee structure for mbbs in canada.
Hi,
Well Canada follows the same system as US. There is no MBBS degree there. You do your undergraduate and then take admission in PG course that is MD for four years and then get into residency program to further complete the entire education. This is how the process works.
I hope this helps.
All the best.
Hi Venkata,
Thanks for your query. Each university formulates their own admission criteria. After you qualify MCAT with decent scores, you need to meet the other requirements of respective colleges. You need to appear and qualify in any one of the English proficiency tests; either IELTS or TOEFL . For undergraduate programmes, you should obtain a minimum score of 6.5 in IELTS. In case of TOEFL exam, the score should be minimum 80 for undergraduate. Canada, as a country, has set high academic standards as compared to other countries It follows rigorous quality in education, especially in the medical domain. Apparently, whoever gets admission to study MBBS in this country earn high-quality teaching, exposure and practical training.

The average cost of studying medicine in Canada would be around C$25,000 and C$35,000 per year, which covers both tuition fee and living expenses. Cost of living is affordable as compared to other countries. However, you can opt for both Government or Private scholarships which are made available to international students.
