After depositing the fees here, if I get selected in the IIT, then the fees can be returned.

Hope you're doing great....!
So, with regard of you're query. generally if you got into some private college and after that you had written the Mains exam and got seat in IIT, then the previous year fee won't be refundable for you. Also, you should join the IIT from the beginning onwards.
