Hello Ashritha.
After Diploma in Engineering, you can two major choices to choose from:
1. To join B.Tech in Lateral entry scheme.
Here, you need to join in a B.Tech. college in the same stream you did your diploma in. You'll get a UG degree.
2. To do AMIE course.
AMIE is also a course similar to BE/B.Tech but here you'll no classroom attendance. It is like doing Open-degree. You'll be given with an AMIE certificate equivalent to B.Tech certificate.
