Hello,
Completing CS is a long and a process in which you have to study a lot.
The whole Company Secretary course consists of 20 papers, spread across 3 levels.
The entrance exam is called CS Foundation Program, consisting of 4 MCQ type papers:
English and Business Communication
Economics and Statistics
Financial Accounting
Elements of Business law and Management
Once the student clears Foundation level, he can appear for CS Executive Program after nine months of clearing the previous level. This level consists of seven papers, divided into two modules:
MODULE I
Company Law
Cost and Management Accounting
Economic and Commercial Laws
Tax Laws and Practice
Module II
Company Accounts and Auditing Practices
Capital Markets and Securities Law
Industrial, Labor and General Laws
After clearing Executive Level, the final level of the course, called as CS Professional Program has to be finished. It consists of nine papers divided into three groups, one of which is open book exam.

Secretarial Audit, Compliance Management and Due Diligence
Corporate Restructuring, Valuation and Insolvency

The Student who would like to join the Course after passing the Graduation has to undergo two stages of the Company Secretary ship i.e.
Executive Programme
Professional Programme
Foundation Programme which is of eight months duration can be pursued by 10+2 pass or equivalent students of Arts, Science or Commerce stream (Excluding Fine Arts)
Executive Programme can be pursued by a Graduate of all streams except Fine Arts.
Professional Programme can be pursued only after clearing the Executive Programme of CS Course.
