NEET is conducted for admission of various courses such as MBBS/BDS//Bachelor of Homeopathy Medicine and Surgery/Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery/Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, Bachelors of Veterinary Sciences (BVSc) , earlier AIIMS and JIPMER used to have their individual entrance exams for MBBS which had been scrapped since last year, in states like Maharashtra NEET courses are considered are BPT and in certain institutes like Jamia Harmdard NEET scores are also considered for BPharm, and even for BSc Nursing
NEET scores are accepted in many institutes.
In order to appear for NEET, you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria as follows-
Attained 17 years as on 31st December of appearing year,
Passed/appearing 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects,
PCB Aggregate inclusive of theory and practical needs to be attained agaisnt one's respective category
UR-50%
SC/ST/OBC-40%
PwD-45%
As of now there is no upper age limit for appearing in NEET, hence no restrictions in number of attempts.

To appear in NEET UG you should either be appearing for class 12th exam or should have passed the class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry Biology and English as compulsory subjects and should have minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB if you belongs to General/UR category, 40% for OBC/SC/ST and 45% for PwD certificate holders.
Your minimum age should be 17 years or more on December 31st of the examination year and there is no upper age limit yet.

So if you are currently studying in class 12th then you can appear for NEET 2021 provided that you must satisfy all other above eligibility criterion.
