    Dekh chote bahut nuksan hota hai agar tu next year iit ya nit me achi branch nahi milti, agar tujhe viswaas hai tu crack kar sakta hai toh drop le , warna koi ache pvt college me ja.....

    Dropping a year depends on your goals and aim. If you are determined to take admission in top NITs or IITs you can take a drop otherwise it is of no use. Taking a drop has no benifits it is your loss.

    You need to get 75% marks in your boards exam in order to get eligible for IITs.

    Your boards marks will not be included in your result.

    If your dream is to get into IITs be determined and self motivated to acheive your goals. There are many average students who have cracked JEE Advanced. Just beleive in yourself.
