Yes, from this year onwards the admission in AIIMS is also going to be granted on the basis of a common medical entance examination i.e. NEET 2020 .

If your query is about AIIMS PG exam for admission to MD/MS and MDS courses, AIIMS PG 2020 and NEET PG 2020 are separate exams. AIIMS PG has  two sessions: January session and July session. Entrance exam for the AIIMS PG 2020 January session has been conducted on November 17.

If you are asking about UG medical admissions, admission to AIIMS and JIPMER will be conducted on the basis of marks of the candidates in the NEET 2020 examination. AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS exams has been scrapped.

I think you have misunderstood

AIIMS PG 2020 Exam is merged with NEET PG 2020 Exam which will be from now on called NEXT exam which is entrance exam for PG .

Although there hasn't been any official announcement for the AIIMS UG 2020 and NEET UG 2020

• No official announcement has been made by AIIMS or the NTA regarding the merging of AIIMS with NEET in 2020.
• So for now, admission into AIIMS can be taken only via the entrance test held by them and not NEET.
