There are 5 branches of Bio Technology -

1. Blue Bio-Technology - This branch of biotechnology helps to control the marine organisms and water borne organisms.

2. Bio Informatics - Bioinformatics is the combination of computer and biotechnology.

3. Green Bio-Technology - Green Biotechnology is the term used for the Agricultural Bio-Tec as this helps to get right quality of plants and crops.

4. Red Bio-Technology - Red biotechnology is referred to as Medical Biotechnology as this is used in production of medicines and anti biotics.

5. White Bio-Technology - White Biotechnology is also called and known by the name Industry Biotechnology as it is related to the production process and development of new chemicals.
