Sir maths is necessary in Biotech..or only PcB can also join in biotech

for biotechnology enginnerring, Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects, you can choose from chemistry or biology as optional subjects.
For Bsc in Biotechnology, PCB is allowed, but for engineering which is purely technical, maths is mandatory siubject.
Bsc is more inclined towards applications of biotech in FMCG and pharma sectors.
Btech is more dedicated towards technical frameworks for implementation of biotech.
