No, the gap doesn't matter. You just need to give a recent character certificate signed by a gazetted officer at the time of admission. You'll have to mention in that character certificate regarding what you have done during that gap period. It's more of a formality sort of thing to submit a character certificate. But the gap won't affect anything.

Please make me clear that if i apply for 12 again bacause of failing once and acquire a good percentage and which will be qualifying for neet application too but by doing so i will get 1 year gap. Then i will be eligible for neet or not?Will this one year gap matter for neet application and counselling as well?Please help me..

You will be eligible for appearing in NEET but after passing physics, chemistry and Biology with an aggregate score of 50% (for UR category).
The gap doesn't matter. You can appear for NEET any year till the time you reach the upper age limit set for giving NEET. Gap year doesn't matter neither while appearing in NEET nor during counseling.
As per my knowledge, your 12th passing certificate will have that year printed on it, in which you passed 12th and not the one in which you failed. So this won't become gap year.

Thank u very much.Are u a mbbs student?If yes, i will urge from god for u to be a great practitioner..Thank u once again..I was willing to score above 90 percent but it changed into failure just because of a long term sickness. After regaining myself i tried again but just after few days i went into depression because of some household matter.After that i failed to recover myself again. Which resulted into the failure.Hope u will understand.I shared this just to feel light and your word can make me do well and to reach my destiny.Thank u for providing information.
