Yes, you are eligible to apply to Armed Force Medical Services through Short Service Commission. You need to apply for the interview based on which you will be shortlisted and send for medical examination.
If you get selected you'll have to serve for a minimum period of 5 years after which you can extend the period upto 14 years.
The upper age limit for applying is 45 years so you are good to go.

- Priority-wise physical counselling will be held based on candidates’ merit-cum-choice.
- The seat matrix will be displayed at the time of counseling.
- Counseling for Priority I will be followed by all other priorities. Only those vacancies which remain vacant after filling of the seats by the serving officers and foreign-sponsored candidates will be available for allotment to other priorities. These seats will be filled in order of priority and merit secured by the candidates.
- Eligibility of candidates will be the responsibility of the candidate themselves as per the criteria mentioned in the Information Bulletin. He / She should check his /her eligibility for Priority/ Institution/ Subject before participating in the counseling process.
The recruitment procedures is through NEET PG entrance examination, and it is not affected by the marks in MBBS. You are eligible according to your rank in NETT PG
