AMIE degree is recognized or not
Dear Aspirant,
AMIE is a B.Tech Engineering Level Course, approved by all State Governments, Central Government, AICTE, UPSC, etc. as equal to B.E / B.Tech. That means that those who pass the AMIE exam will have equal opportunities for work as well as higher education in both governments. And the private sector, just like a B.E or a B.Tech manager. The Institute of Engineers (India), the largest multidisciplinary body of engineers in the world, is the organization responsible for preparing the AMIE syllabus, conducting exams and awarding certificates, etc.
So of course it is well recognised. The attraction with AMIE is that it is a recognized engineering degree course that can be studied in distance learning. Since this course does not entail any class room attendance, anyone who meets the defined eligibility criteria can become a graduate engineer at the least possible time and expense! Because we arrange the AMIE Postal School, this course is particularly suitable for workers.
The streams which are offered are:
1. Chemical Engineering
2. Civil Engineering
3. Computer Science and Engineering
4. Electrical Engineering
5. Electronics & Communication Engineering
6. Mechanical Engineering
7. Materials and Metallurgical Engineering
8. Mining Engineering
9. Production Engineering
10. Textile Engineering
This degree is good for time management as you can study in your spare time and become a graduate engineer. It is considered equivalent to B.E. or B.Tech. and is recognised by both Government and Private sectors. It is also cost-effective and for a better job after this, a person can go forward with GATE or M.Tech.
Hope this helps. All the best!
AMIE is recognised by the Government of India. And it is equivalent to BE/B.Tech courses. And so its degree is widely accepted and recognised. AMIE is recognised not just by the Government of India but it is accepted across all State Governments, AICTE, UPSC, etc.
