Hi Sudershon,
Generally, streams that create maximum job opportunities are Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Operations and Strategy. If you specialize in one of these, you will be in a strong position as far as employment is concerned. Some B-Schools also offer dual specializations. So if you happen to enroll in one that offers such a degree, then good for you. As far as the IIMs are concerned, most of them offer a General Management degree and teach all of these as subjects. So you do not 'specialize' in any stream.
Cheers!

In MBA most of the colleges majorly offers you various streams to do specialization like Financial Management, Marketing Management, Operations Management, General Management, Strategic Management, Analytical Management, Human Resource Management.
If you go in IIMs then there is no major and minor, you are offered a General Management degree in which you are taught subjects from all the streams in first year and then given full freedom to select any subjects from any stream in complete second year.
While in other private colleges you need to pick two streams for your major and minor specialization. See there is no good and bad combination. Companies come up with their specific requirements and if they find out those skills in you then shortlist you for further evaluation.
Currently Finance, Marketing and Operations are the streams which are in way demand so picking them as your major will be advantageous because of more number of openings.
Now as a minor selection making a little wise decision can take you a step ahead of others. Like with Marketing companies generally look for Analytical and strategic skills. So Marketing with Analytical or Strategy or General Management is a good combination.
Coming to Finance as it itself is a very big and unique field which doesn't requires much more addition but still taking strategy or General Management as your minor will be a good combination.
Coming to operations again Analytical and Startegic stream will be good option.
If we look for HR it can be picked up with as a minor course with any of the three major streams. If you have interest in HR then it turns out to be a good option as it might not add up to your major but will open more job opportunities.
All the best for your preparations, exams and admission!!
