Currently no government university in India offers a textile diploma fully online. Textile diploma courses are available through government polytechnic and textile institutes in offline mode, such as:
- Government Polytechnic of textile Technology, Bhagalpur
- Government Institute of textile Chemistry & Knitting Technology, Ludhiana
- Institute of Textile Technology, Choudwar
- Government Polytechnic, Farrukhabad

These institutes offer 3 year diploma programs in textile technology, textile design, and garment technology. Admission is done through entrance exam or merit based depends on college.
