There is no official data of the number of repeaters appeared in the NEET-2019. But generally, more than 50% candidates appearing for NEET are repeaters. The syllabus of NEET exam is vast. It includes the syllabus of class 11th and 12th for Physics, Chemistry and Biology so for an average student it is difficult to crack the NEET exam in the first attempt and the number of candidates appearing for the exam is very high as compared to the number of MBBS seats in government medical colleges of our country. This year around 15 lakhs students appeared for NEET-2019. These two factors increase the competition that's why students take an extra drop for preparation of NEET exam.If you're dedicated towards your ultimate aim is becoming a doctor then you can consider a drop for preparation of NEET exam. The fee of private medical colleges is very high and and not everyone can afford the same. Believe in yourself and never lose hope.
