are 12th marks criteria for admission into josaa counseling for 2019 passed out....if yes what would be requirement in detail plzzz

The josaa counseling for admission to B.tech and B.arch courses will be done on the basis of jee 2020 rank .

After the release of jee result jossa counselling will start.

to register for jossa counselling the candidate

• must qualify jee 2020 exam
• have to pass class 12th with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Beside this there was a criteria that student should obtain minimum 75 % marks or should be in top 20 percentile of his board but due to the pendamic covid -19 this criteria is now relaxed for admission to NITs ,IITs and CFITs.
• so to apply for these institutions there is no minimum percentage requirment now. Any 12th pass out candidate  can apply for joss counselling 2020 if he/she fulfill other eligibility criteria.

This year mhrd notified that nit and iit will not consider your 12th basic requirement i.e 75% in cbse board or top 20 percentile so 12th marks will not taken for admission in nit and iit by josaa counselling even if you are 2019 passout.
