Are civil opportunities good through gate

Hello Aspirant,

Yes , the scopes are good for civil after clearing GATE exam .It provides you higher study(M.Tech) opportunities in premium insitutes like IISc, IITs, NITs, and some private colleges upon fetching a good rank.It is followed by an interview also which is given equal weightage during selection. It can give you 'Scientist Positions' at top govt. organizations like BARC (Bhabha Atomic Research Centre), DRDO (Defense Reseach and Development Organisation) and a few other entry level positions.Likewise it can give you jobs in several PSUs in the country like IOCL, ONGC, HPCL, RITES, EIL, NHAI, DMRC, BHEL, SAIL, NTPC, PGCIL etc.If you are interested to study abroad , then a good GATE score can make way into top-ranked universities there. But remember , all this will happen only if you have really good rank in GATE , hence study hard do not overthink or worry about the scopes, if you do your part well , opportunities will follow.If you are good at your preparations , you may attempt the Indian Engineering Services exam too for similar opportunities.
