There is a difference between the two. Percentile indicate the number of people who have scored equal to or below you in the examination whereas score indicates the raw score that you obtain based on your performance.
NTA has itself specified that your percentile out of 100 will be your NTA score, and they will be your new marks.
So now everyone will have a score out of 100.
