Are pg seats going to increase like the previous year as NDA govt promised to increase 5000 seats each year
I doubt that many seats shall be opened every year because you need to have that type of infrastructure and faculty to run a medical pg seat. But yes, number of seats will be increased due to MCI notification which asks medical colleges to convert their Diploma seats to MD/MS seats. Although it is notified, not all colleges have registered hence their may be a max increase of 1000 seats this year including the seats opened in new medical colleges.
