By looking into the official website of St.Joseph college and the rules and regulations brochure released by them, one could conclude that USAGE OF MOBILE PHONES INSIDE THE CAMPUS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Restricted usage:

According to the management, the students should not use mobile phones within the campus.  Dayscholars are not allowed to bring their mobile phones into the campus.  Dayscholars should not use their mobile phones even inside the college bus.  Hostellers are also not allowed to use mobile phones in their rooms.

Actions:

If caught, the management has the rights to take actions against the student who violates it.  The actions to be taken by the management against the defaulters may include collection of fine amounts.  Repeated violation leads to seizure of mobile phones and even suspension of the student.
