As an MBBS student, what would you suggest to all medical aspirants #medical
Hello Shhubham
This is something my friend's Surgery Professor told him while teaching him Peptic Ulcer Disease
“When I was a resident in this Department we have to do a Operation known as Truncal Vagotomy( a surgery where vaghim nerve which supplies stomach is cut with stomach) as a treatment to Peptic Ulcer disease. We hime to have lot of cases and I did lot of hardwork to learn the surgery. Currently Truncal Vagotomy is almost obsolete as we have drugs to manage it and our understanding of the diseases have expanded. What you learn in MBBS and even in MS may become irrelevant in coming years, and you need to learn something new”
He then told him how he had read Harrison page to page multiple times trying to inspire him to go home and read.
With this story what I want to point out is medical field is marrathon to be run.
He started his dream to become a Doctor in 2010
Got admission in Medical college in 2013
Currently working as a Intern
Working and studying so this time I can crack NEET PG and become a PGT
Constantly taking tips from Residents on how to study.
He will lie if he say life will be easy after it becahime as PGT training will be much harder then MBBS
hope u like the answer
have a charming day :-)
