As part 2025 TG epacet councelling, I attended Phase 1 counselling and got admission in one of the colleges. I paid tution fee for the branch in the college where I got my admission. I want to attend Phase 2 councelling. What is the Process for my scenario?
Hello,
Yes, you can attend Phase 2 counselling even after getting admission in Phase 1. Here is the process for your case:
-
Register for Phase 2 – Log in using your credentials and select Phase 2 counselling.
-
Option Entry – You must give fresh web options again. You can choose new colleges/branches or keep the same ones.
-
Seat Allotment – If you get a new seat in Phase 2, your Phase 1 seat will be cancelled automatically.
-
Fee Adjustment – The fee you paid in Phase 1 will be adjusted. If the new college has a higher fee, you must pay the difference. If it’s less, the extra may be refunded as per rules.
Reporting – You must report to the new college if you get a new seat. If you don’t get a new seat in Phase 2, your Phase 1 seat will remain.
Make sure to follow the official schedule and instructions.
Hope it helps !
Hello Karthikeya,
Yes, you can attend Phase 2 counselling after taking admission in Phase 1. Here is how it would work:
- Register and Exercise Web Options for Phase 2: You need to register again specifically for Phase 2 counselling (if required), and you will need to select your preferred colleges and branches again.
- Phase 2 Participation Converts into Replacement of Phase 1 Allotment: When you exercise Phase 2 option and obtain a seat, the Phase 1 allotment would get automatically cancelled even if the current seat is same or lower than the previous seat. Therefore, you need to be very careful while selecting options.
- If New Seat is allotted in Phase 2 then you will have to download the allotment order and report to the new college. Whatever tuition fee you have paid in Phase 1 will be adjusted in the new college (if both colleges are in the same fee category). You may have to pay/refund fee difference if applicable.
- If No New Seat is allotted in Phase 2 then your Phase 1 seat remains intact and you can carry on with that college seamlessly.
- Freeze your options wisely, and select only the colleges and branches that you would really prefer over allocated college in Phase 1.
