Yes, the Automobile Engineering course duration is of 4 years which is 8 semesters and yes, a diploma student can complete in 6 semesters it self. As diploma students will study two years before and no Class 12, after that they enter into Engineering Colleges through a process called lateral entry and they continue feom second year.
